Thought I'd steal this idea from PC Gaming.

Dunno if anyone's done it all ready, but here's how it goes:

- 1 VOTE EACH
- ONLY GAMES RELEASED IN 2004 CAN BE CONSIDERED
- VOTES IN BOLD

And of course feel free to add why you support game or destroy someone else's suggestion.
:)

I'll keep a tally going. I start this now, because the year is drawing to a close and looking back, this year's been better than usual for decent games.

The categories are:

- SPORTS
- SHOOT 'EM UP
- RPG
- RACING
- PLATFORMER
- FOREIGN

and of course the golden coverted:

- OVERALL

Note:

GTA: SA amongst other games may not fit into a category. It will later be considered for the OVERALL best game though.

At the moment, I've got 4 games coming for Xmas that I haven't played yet, so I reserve the right to change my vote later... but at the moment, I'd have to say...

Ratchet & Clank 3

As long as you do it in a new post making it clear that it's changed instead of editing that post, yes, yes you do.

Ironically enough, I have a split decision, myself.

Rachet and Clank 3
San Andreas
Pro Evo 4

Decisions, decisions.

You see, I didn't actually vote for anything. Thus negating the rule of using bold.

I want categories! Now Clazon, now!

Otherwise - Disgaea

However, including pre-2004, my game of the year is Final Fantasy X / IX. Just started playing FFX again, after wiping my (roughly) 90% complete save.

It's a shame, I've always had something obstructing completing any FF. It's odd.
