I'm a terible decision maker. Tonight do I:

1. Go to see Dillinger Escape Plan and Poison the Well at Leeds Cockpit

2. Go to Baja (Leeds nightclub) for my friends 18th birthday

3. Try and attempt both

For those who dont know, Dillinger is 'new-hardcore' and perhaps the loudest most violent metal music you'll ever hear - [URL]http://www.dillingerescapeplan.com[/URL] - you can listen to a few samples here.

And in contrast, Baja plays cheesy dance music - BUT at midnight balloons fall from the ceiling and some have MONEY in them!


I'm retarded and thus need opinion about which I should do.

It's also my 400th SR birthday today. Praise me.

My view of these mass chain cheep drinking places is not good. The amount of fights and drunken idiots in them is insane. I’d hate to work in one.

Was Baja called something else previously or is it one of the brand new places? Can't say I've noticed it but I haven't been in that end of town for ages.

I like Yates near the Cockpit, it isn't bleurgh.

Yates' = bleurgh

Baja is next to Yates' opposite Morrisons on the back of the Merrion centre.

I know the cockpit and the uni but I don't know Baja. It takes me a good 20 mins to walk from the Cockpit to the Merrion Centre.

You know Leeds Sleepy?

It isn't that far.

Try to do both. Go to the cockpit first and see if you can catch some of Dillinger then go to the 18th.

Only a 10 minute walk? Man you can walk fast :)
