"Choose my new graphics card..."

Right. I want a new graphics card. One that will be able to play with everything on high settings. I'm thinking that perhaps ATi would be the best path to choose, but have no idea what to go for.

Not wanting to spend anymore than £300 really. And I'm thinking about buying 512mb more RAM aswell. So what would be my best options with/without the RAM?

Many threads on simple softmodding. What is comes down to, is that you have a very good chance of getting a card that will run in the same league as the x800 for about half the price.

I've ordered one for myself... will post a topic on my findings when it arrives (should be this week)

If you want the RAM get a 6800 standard, if you dont get an X800 pro.

For £300 I would go for more than a 9800 Pro.

Still cheap compared to the £300 I have (or will have) to spend.
