Well, the trailer looks good now I've seen it on my TV rather than a PC screen (Film 2004 last night). So, does this bode well for the film?
Thing is, it can't end on a good note, can it? So we're going to get another downbeat ending. Let's hope that the script fairs better as well, and that the acting is slightly less wooden this time. Less talk of politics and more action should be the order of the day, as we've seen all the gubbins in Episode II. (was it me or did that film move at a snail's pace for the first 3/4 of the movie?)

I'd go and see it even if it consisted of an hour and a half of Lucas hunched over his stunted manhood, tugging furiously at it to get some 'inspiration' on the page. Just so long as he wears a Boba Fett mask.

It is with sad resignation that I believe Episode III will be absolute balls.
The Phantom Menace trailer looked fantastic yet the film was like watching a spastic 3yr old trying to play the videogame of the film.
The Attack of The Clones trailer looked fantastic yet the film was a ballsniffer of a waste of time.
And, alas, I fear that Lucas will prove consistent with this episode and make another empty, nonsensical CGI crapfest that sacrifices memorable dialogue, 3 dimensional characters and exciting set-pieces for simply 2hrs of running and jumping and shooting and chasing.
I'll go watch it, I'll buy the DVD because I'm a Star Wars geek.
But, as with the other two new films, I'll never watch them again having scanned through deleted scenes looking for the good bits he left out.
It's going to take more than sticking Wookies and Darth Vader in to make up for the red-faced straining Lucas went through to poop over the vestiges of his career.

I personally think the film is going to blow up and prove Lucas is still a genius.
hi, im a product of 1990s film and television culture. this film will only be good if it has the hero jar jar binks in, and lots of special effects, a vampire, and an explosion. i hope anekin skywalker doesnt turn evil at the end, as he is my fave and i want a kewl poster of him on my wal to inspire me as i listen to the rasmus who i heart. ill probably get the special edition and normal dvd if annie lives and jar jar gets his jedi badge. also i think they should have more heartfelt lines with the robots their superkewl!
