Nintendo have one of the biggest reputations for delays. Nearly every single piece of hardware or hugely anticipated games are delayed!
Its one of the most top ten of the most things that I find annoying!
JAPAN:
The Japanese will now be receiving their Gamecubes on the 14th of September.
USA:
The Americans will be seeing their GC's around mid-december from October.
US (UK, Europe):
And we are still Spring 2002 (doh!)!!
And its because Shigsy's game won't be ready in time for the release date originally!
Its one of the most top ten of the most things that I find annoying!

Thats one thing I don't understand about Nintendo - the way they release consoles in times like spring when people are less likely to be able to buy it. Surely its best to release consoles around november time, in time for Christmas.
Obviously those of us who have jobs can go out and buy them, but kids who tend to have to wait for times like Christmas and Birthdays tend to lose out because of this. And i don't think too many kids wanna wait around for their Christmas present when they can ask for a console thats out like the PS2.
Not saying the PS2 is wonderful and the best, etc. But surely you see my point ? Kids aren't too patient and if Nintendo released their console and Mario at Christmas time they would do so much better in sales. Of course knowone wants an extended wait to go till Christmas 2002, but the fact that we're once again behind Japan and the U.S in priority really shows once again where we stand.
