Went to see this tonight, top quality film.
Was great to watch and is up there with my fav animated films, definitely worth going to see.

Some of the characters are class and there are little bits in it that are just strokes of pure genius.

Go watch.

Am i the only one here that thought this was terrible?

I found myself looking at my watch half the time because it was so boring. It was too slow, predictable and was aimed far too much at kids.

Perhaps Im just too old to enjoy that kinda film, although people my age have seen it and said it was excellant so I dunno.

'Finding Nemo' I though had some funny bits, but could be quite boring. I thought 'The Incredibles' was a better film overall. Plus some of the things they took jokes out of were so funny, ie the Matrix bit, and all the b-movie hero films with the little cliff-hanger bit.

The backgrounds and landscapes were fantastic. The shots of the approaching island were amazing and the ones I was aiming my comment at.

Just seen it. I thought that whilst it was good, it was disgustingly overrated - I've no idea how the hell it's higher than Terminator 2 on the IMDB Top Films of All Time chart. My main criticisms were:

- Not enough Samuel L Jackson, not even NEAR enough.
- It was quite slow-moving at times, for a film aimed at kids
- Some of the themes were a bit iffy for children (suicide etc)

But on the plus-side:

- The style of animation was very nice.
- I enjoyed the inclusion of guns for the first time in a Pixar flick.
- It was very well written

I don't think I'll be getting this on DVD when it comes out, but it's good enough for filling 2 hours.
