I've got to do a plan but I have no idea what the essay's supposed to be like.
Our teachers been off ill for a few weeks so I don't have a clue!

The topic of the essay is a chenge in a character and the book is "Shipwrecks" by Akira Yoshimura.

Do you have an essay title, such as

"discuss the use of the protagonists gender in the novel, and how it represents his inner fear of fish"

Or is it just a review-esque kind of thing?

The plan is basically how you're going to set out your essay.
Just start off with an explanation of what the book is about, then give a brief statement of how the character you're speaking of changes. Then explain it fully, showing how the author shows this change.

Stuff like that.
