...a way on Firefox to merge open windows as such, so that they're all tabbed?
As in, I'd have two seperate windows, but wanted to have only one - and so I'd put them together to have one tabbed window.

Couldn't you just Ctrl + C the link on one window then Ctrl + T on the other window then Ctrl + v on the new tab.
