...a way on Firefox to merge open windows as such, so that they're all tabbed?

As in, I'd have two seperate windows, but wanted to have only one - and so I'd put them together to have one tabbed window.

Ta.

Like the address bar is missing?

Well I can't check firefox, but in IE you can right-click on a space in the top area and select to view the address bar and stuff.

Or am I way off?

Look in the options. I'm sure I saw tabbed options there yesterday.

TabbedPreferences does this.

Yeah, thanks for the help YOU USELESS NOBBOS.
:'}

It's because a site I frequently use - you open a new window by pressing a submit button, so I can't do the Ctrl+C thing. And the opened window doesn't have all the rigmaroll at the top, if you know what I mean.

You know - like a popup.

I know, but like, that works both with links that would have "target=_main" and those with "target=_new".

Is there a way to have them both to open in a new window?

Yup, still does in 1.0 - same as Ctrl + Left Click.

Coin, if you want a link to open in a new tab, click it with your scroll wheel (or middle button-whatever). It opens up in a new tab and not a new window.

At least it does in Firefox 0.8...

TabPreferences can do that. Though I don't know if there is a version available for 1.0 yet.

Actually, I've been wanting to do a similiar thing, only instead of merging windows already open, having all links that would usually open in a new window opening in a new tab.

Which I know is possible.

Also, I believe there is an extension for that.
