20 odd years on from the first time Mario hit the games world, and he's still going strong.

It's incredible how a franchise so old and stretched to the limit can still do so bloody well.

Even now people look forward to Mario games, Mario Tennis being the latest, and he does so well for Nintendo. And it seems that, even though many of his games now are updates and sequels, he can still shift a bucket load of copies.

But what else can Ninty do with the Lord himself? Well, the latest offering, Pinball, was nothing shor of disappointing ad a sign that Mario can't do everything well.

Ninty have hinted at an Eyetoy style game with Mario, which could again create a whole new world of innovation. Or can Mazza keep starring in updates of games with improvements, such as Mario Kart, and still sell?

Ninty is really aiming at something here - the shower scene in Paper Mario 2, then Peach in a mini-skirt.

Remember that thread someone made about new Mario plots.

We had some truly brilliant ones, like 'Mario and Peach and the Pikdom' or something stupid like that.

I think the fact that Pinball was developed by a small british developer had something to do with the fact it sucked... not much to do with Mario himself.

Hotel Mario sucked too (although I enjoyed it for a bit)...

Mario will be around for years, making his face known in nearly all of Nintendo games.

Sadly.

You name it, Mario's done it.

*cue mad suggestions with sexual undertones for things Mario has done*
