It's incredible how a franchise so old and stretched to the limit can still do so bloody well.
Even now people look forward to Mario games, Mario Tennis being the latest, and he does so well for Nintendo. And it seems that, even though many of his games now are updates and sequels, he can still shift a bucket load of copies.
But what else can Ninty do with the Lord himself? Well, the latest offering, Pinball, was nothing shor of disappointing ad a sign that Mario can't do everything well.
Ninty have hinted at an Eyetoy style game with Mario, which could again create a whole new world of innovation. Or can Mazza keep starring in updates of games with improvements, such as Mario Kart, and still sell?
Shigsy says "they want mature? We'll give 'em mature."

We had some truly brilliant ones, like 'Mario and Peach and the Pikdom' or something stupid like that.
Hotel Mario sucked too (although I enjoyed it for a bit)...
Mario will be around for years, making his face known in nearly all of Nintendo games.
