My thinking is, if I drink then all the nasty crap that makes my throat hurt will die.

At my disposal I have:

Lager (Carling)
Malibu
Whiskey (scottish, not Jack sadly)

I might mix some cough syrup in there too.

What an eclectic mixture.

Only pure 100% alchohol kills bacterica. If it did kill bacteria e.g. lager, we would all drink it when we were ill.
