It's a favourite of mine.
Read it as a kid and found it again a couple of years ago.

I thought it apt.

s'quite a good book actually. We studied it way back before I even did my GCSE's...

It was quite amusing when we took turns to read it in the class, actually. It's going to be hard to exaplain this, but do you know the bit where he realises he can't read the books in foreign languages, somebody says "Did you find these useful?", and he looks at the books and says in despair "Oh no, NO!"

You know that bit? Well, one of my friends came to that bit, and read it out in a dismissive tone of voice as "oh no, no."

He'd totally missed the meaning of the line. We burst out laughing.... it just seemed so appropriate that he'd been the one to read it out ;)
