Im looking to buy a graphics card. What is a good card that will play the likes of Half Life 2 and Doom 3?- anything up to £100 or would I need to go higher?

I picked up a 9800se for £90 new on ebay.
The guy I got it off had identical auctions selling 9800 pros, and soon as I saw a buy it now price of £90 I instantly purchased it, only to realize that I got the se instead of the pro... Bah
All was not lost though, I softmodded it and managed to unlock the extra 4 pipelines of the pro version (since most se's are just castrated pro's)
And it's now running almost at pro speeds, for a fraction of the price :).
Now it runs doom 3 and half life 2 at stunning frame rates at high settings at 1024x768..

Doom 3 is crap anyway.
Celeron's aren't good for games. That's probably why the game advisor thingy says it's insufficient.
I'd imagine you could get away with it in HL2 though.

what is the processor required for doom 3? I have an intel celeron 2.4ghz but the windows xp game advisor says this is insufficient to play doom 3.
9700s are £93 from Overclockers, by the by.
I'm currently using an "old" Radeon 9700 Pro, and I can run every game I've tried perfectly well in 1024x768. Half Life 2 runs excellently.
