Im looking to buy a graphics card. What is a good card that will play the likes of Half Life 2 and Doom 3?- anything up to £100 or would I need to go higher?

if you looking for a cheap card that is pretty good. Try to get a geforce 4 ti4800 it's won't last for another few years maybe till the end of the year (2005).

i have a geforce 4 ti4600 but the ti4800 is the 8x AGP version been a great card to me for a few years and runs everything fantastic. just depends on the rest of your system.

Yes, but it takes up another PCI slot though.
Comes with a firewire port too which was pretty nifty since I didnt already have one.

Yep, It's fine for me though, as long as a game will play at resolutions higher than 800x600, with high graphic settings i'm happy :).
Plus with the cash I saved on it I got myself an audigy 2zs. (One sweet sound card)

Nonono, not the AIW. I definetely would have noticed that on the auction.
It's just the standard 9800se 256mb ddr 128bit memory interface.

Was that the 9800SE All in Wonder, or the normal one with just the 128Mbit interface?
