Afternoon all,

Sorry to be bringing a complaining type thread to your forum, but has anybody here been having problems with their Amazon claim vouchers received for their GAD win?

I only ask because my previous one has just vanished from my Amazon account, and the GAD winners list hasn't been updated with recent winners chosen claim. So it's got me to thinking that there is a bit of a hitch between Freeola and Amazon.

I was hoping to use them towards an Xbox 360, but as my first claim has gone, and my second apparently not on the way, I'm wondering if I should wait for a bit longer, or just press on and pay up fully (so it gets here for Christmas) and just use the vouchers next year.

Cheers.

Could be, or Amazon's voucher system went a bit fuzzy round the edges for a while.

I wouldn't say this has affected my view on Internet shopping, I just expect somewhere along the line of passing the claim codes from Amazon to Freeola, either some git has copied them down and used them for themselves, or the same codes were issued multiple times, and hence they've all been cancelled.

Of course, my answer may change if I find all my money gone too :)

EDIT:
pb's TV addition could of course be a completely separate issue.

So you think either amazon or Freeola accidentally gave several people the same voucher number?

No, if they'd used my vouchers it would show up on my account. The voucher thing is a seperate issue I think, it just disappeared, and you can't transfer it.

But has it raised your concern about buying things over the internet? Somehow someone managed to get into your amazon account possibly used your vouchers and tried to purchase a 50inch television.

Yeah, Freeola are usually pretty good with these things.
