As a man u hater and a liverpool supporter.
There was hope when newcastle got one back but then the soft penalty determined newcastle's fait.Man U do look a bit weak in some places....
made many mistakes.......
Van Nistelrooy has played it down though, saying "It is just a knock, it is nothing serious"
Shouldnt be too worried when you got a line up of Saha, Smith and Rooney, but united really do miss the van :(
With United being 'short' in midfield why not try Rooney on the Left? his pace and power meant Newcastle had to put 2 men on him at times and even then he came out on top, he had a free role and came inside at times and then shifted out wide. This would also mean that Alan Smith can start upfront alongside Ruud.
He really was something else, at times, on Sunday!
When our defence scraped the ball away, he was there to give us that energetic 'drive' we used to get from a benched Ryan Giggs, or even a goal-scoring Paul Scholes.
I still think Roy Keane has become too slow for the pace of the modern game, though. As great an asset as he is for our defensive side and aside from his acute passing which remains, when the ball comes to him on the counter-attack, it's like the world just stands still!
Look at at the difference in teams like Arsenal and Chelsea...
The ball NEVER stops moving - and yet, they're top of the lot, right now!
Ronaldo's a boy who cannot keep his feet on the ground, yet he really is starting to P me off again. It's fair enough dancing around in circles when we're into the final 5 minutes, holding onto a one-goal lead, desperately in need of these points... Yet, all those other times he had the ball, he should've just crossed it first time!
As people like (Brazillian) Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs and even Michael Owen have learnt already - you can't beat every player you like, EVERY time! :P

This coming from a supporter of the team that just conceeded 4 against Spurs of all teams. Like Ortega said, shut up you tart and concentrate on your own team
> You could of easily lost on the day.
Could have but didn't, just like you could have beaten us but didn't :-D
Ronaldo is probably being greedy becasue he hasnt scored this season (for united that is, scored quite a few for portgual!)
