(Ok. Bear in mind there will be little other than Gamecube news here, sorry about that, I am working on trying to get more coverage on other systems, but I'm rather lazy.)
(First up, guess about how many Gamecube games Nintendo are showing at E3? Go on, have a guess.)
(I bet you're wrong... well, unless you guessed 36, you're a bit wrong.)
(Thirty six games? That's quite a lot. I can name... err... ten? Perhaps one or two more? Looks like we've got a few suprises in store.)
(Two weeks after we told you that Activision were lying and Tony Hawk's three WOULD appear on the Gamecube... Activision officially announce Tony Hawks on the Gamecube. Aren't we great?)
(One thing to notice though... many many third parties, Eidos included, *cough*er-no*cough*, have denied that any Gamecube software exists. But as we get closer to E3, the NDA's start to break, and we can finally get some information on games, and start seeing pictures. Turok 4, for example?)
(By the way. Rogue Leader. Bloody amazing. Those pictures IGN released today are nothing like they look now. Stay tuned to www.lucasarts.com, all you Gamecube loving insomniacs, there should be six pics heading your way sometime tommorrow morning.)
(Oh yeah, here's some interesting news. "GameCube's Rogue Squadron II uses CG models ILM built for the Star Wars Special Edition movies. The original ILM models were not downsized or scaled back. Allowing Rogue Squadron II to have ships that look look exactly like those found in the movie." Quote from Lucasarts. That's nice to know, isn't it?)
(Now. Prices. X-Box = £300. Gamecube = less than £200. No more needs to be said, just facts.)
(Here's something I picked up while searching through the www.nintendo.com site. If you go to news, and check out information about the 17th of May, Nintendo say: "e3 Show in Los Angeles-- Be there and be square!")
(Now, it may either be my neurons going slightly haywire, but we could take that as a small clue. If I were you, I wouldn't look too hard into it.)
(And finally, for the moment, at least, I can now reveal the huge secret about the new controller...!)
(It's got four shoulder buttons. Wow. Big secret. Ah well, I thought it looked a bit odd with two on one side and one on the other. It is copying the Sony controller, but that's good. I can cope with that.)
(Brain out.)
Zelda.
Rogue Leader.
Crazy Taxi.
Zelda.
Madden.
Sonic.
What's that game you mention... oh yeah, Perfect Dark 2. :0)
Smash bros 2.
Turok 4.
Is that ten? Ah. Good. That will do then.
Not Metroid. A non show-er, apparently.
(So, Eidos WILL have a presense at the Nintendo booths then?)
or did I actually mention a demo Video, much alike the one which will be at the E3, and the only thing that is controllable is this kinda hand icon to select what you want to watch.....
What 10 games can you name Grix?
Now it's have more possibilities than even the N64 pad.
