That bit was great.

Huzzah, finally caught it last night (the episode, not VD) - it was excellent. I knew there had to be some horrible twist to his mate, he can't just make a normal friend. Then when they were in uniform for that film...

Turning up with a baseball bat to beat that bloke, and a glove and a ball in case they needed to make up a cover story:
