Me too. I got to the boss thinking 'crap, I don't have this badge thingy'. Luckily I'd already turned it on.
I did it by accident.

It's a Sound Effects Badge.
It's just a badge that when equipped makes your attacks sound like crickets.
It's just a badge that when equipped makes your attacks sound like crickets.
I can't remember where it is found, but it is one of the badges that doesn't require 'bp' and changes your attack sounds fx.
