...when i'm older.

Can somebody tell me what qualifications I need and what it's like etc etc...

I'm just starting to decide what I want to do as a career in School and was wondering whether someone who is an actual policeman can tell me what it's like and stuff.

Thank you!

A police officer, surprisingly.

You have to be for at least 2 years.

Oh and Clazon, I don't believe your stats quoted.

Why don't you just ring your local police department and ask them.

You could probably arrange to get some work experience with them as well if you're 16+.

I was going to say that, but when I weighed it up a financial resolution to a moral problem wasn't worthwhile.

That basically means that I think to be a policeman you don't have to be those things, but it's better if you are cos you'll get accepted by the majority of the others who are.

Interestingly, 8/10 white officers who were willing to answer in an unamed station, said that they became a policemen to stop the increase in black crime. That seems like there's a little more prejudice than objectivity.

(For EB's and possibly others benefit)

MAY BE OFFENSIVE

But you can be racist, neglegent and clumsy in your own time and you don't even have to wake up early.
