There have been reports circulating that The Hurricane is next to be released, as Eagle-Eyed WWE.Com surfers, noted that his profile had been removed from the site. The profile has now been put up and WWE are claiming it was an administrative error caused by removing other profiles of the stars who have been cut. Perhaps one for the conspiracy theorists amongst you. Hurricane does have a heavy hitter in his corner though, as he is very close with head writer Brian Gerwitz.
Rico was a comedy wrestler. Comedy wrestlers never progress past the midcard.
OMG! How could they release Rico? He was hilarious (as lalakers said :P) He seemed to be pretty over with the fans since he always made them laugh in the ring...well I barely watch WWE now and releasing all of these wrestlers really isn't helping...

I can understand the Rico release. I don't agree with it though, especially as they brought Hogan back and had a title run, so age shouldn't be an issue.
