"In or Out ?"

I had an interesting talk to Miss NY a couple of nights ago and she brought up the subject of being introverted or extroverted and i thought it was a worthwhile topic of discussion for the forum.
Which do you consider yourself to be, do you think there has been anything which made you how you are, what do you define as introvert or extrovert, would you rather be the other type, does everyone fit into those two catergories or is there a balance, who do you think is the happier group and what would you do in the situation given here [URL]http://www.epinions.com/content_138779659908[/URL].
And if you haven't realised i'm posting this because NY was too shy to make it herself.
You need some more confidence ! :)

I'm very extrovert when I'm comfortable and a bit of both whatever my mood is.

Mostly introverted, but can be extroverted from time to time.

I consider that I would fall into the catagory of introvert but a lot of people would descibe me as an extrovert going on the definitions in the link.

I prefer the quieter times. I love being alone and never get lonesome. It may be that I am mildly an extrovert but it really depends on how high my confidence level is at any given moment not the situation itself.

I can be introverted, when necessary, but generally, I'm as extroverted as you'll ever find. I have no fear of public speaking, even on the spur of the moment in front of large crowds. I can talk to complete strangers with ease, even if they aren't necessarily at ease.

In short, really, there are very few things that I'm too embarassed to say or do.

That link to the review said that it was an extroverts world. I don't think so. Most people tend to be in between. Certainly, I've only ever met a handful of people as outgoing as myself.

By that I mean, it varies on what mood I'm in. I can force myself to be either.

Introverted unless with really good friends, then everything turns around. With a bunch of strangers ... won't usually say a word.

But it's not that I'm crapping myself - if someone talks to me, I'll chat along happily. It's just, I dunno, I don't talk much.

Strange.

Loads of people will describe me as an extrovert but only when i'm around people i feel comfortable with.

Being shy doesn't make you an intovert. for instance i started my new job at a bingo hall and i was quite chatty to other people working there but they still describe me as shy, but on my second night i still got up and started calling the bingo numbers.

I think that makes me pretty extroverted! I'm quite unique too!

I found that i was less in around friends but i was still the quietest.
