I had an interesting talk to Miss NY a couple of nights ago and she brought up the subject of being introverted or extroverted and i thought it was a worthwhile topic of discussion for the forum.
Which do you consider yourself to be, do you think there has been anything which made you how you are, what do you define as introvert or extrovert, would you rather be the other type, does everyone fit into those two catergories or is there a balance, who do you think is the happier group and what would you do in the situation given here http://www.epinions.com/content_138779659908.
And if you haven't realised i'm posting this because NY was too shy to make it herself.
You need some more confidence ! :)

Slightly introverted; I don't mind meeting new people at all, I'm more than happy too, but generally only talk back to new people before getting to know them a little better. With my close friends, like many have said, I'm pretty lively.

Seems that everyone's about the same on here.
Mostly in, only out with good mates.

And I'll bet your out side shows more when at SR. I suppose you need to communicate here to make an impression - if you don't say anything, you don't actually exist.

My primary instinct is to be a hermit, so in this day and age that makes me introvertly extrovert.

Introverted, but not greatly. I think I'm pretty balanced, especially compared to how I used to be.

University, events in my life and Martial Arts have all ensured that I'm no longer that person with the completely introverted approach to life, analysing everything.

That doesn't mean I don't have flashes of darkness and revert to my old self, but I find it so much easier to be able to cope with things such as training a whole load of people or standing up in front of people.

Why?
I don't think there's anything wrong at all with analysing yourself all the time. And other people. You probably find it mundane now maybe because you do it too much.. ;) But I think it's one of the most interesting things in the world. At least it's something we can do.
