People wonder why Sky hardly show any of Arsenals home games.

The camera angle is absolutely terrible. How anyone can be happy watching a game with a camera angle like that?
I would be watching them now but instead I've switched to the Barca vs Milan.

I've only ever seen them play at lower league sides, certainly never the OTs and Stamford Bridges.

I must admit I didn't think of the international/club tournament side of it. But that would be a great help for a World Cup or Euro bid. Unfortunately we are unlikely to get either of those for many years yet.

Wasnt talking just about England senior team. You got all the other different levels (u21, u19s) etc who could play there. And then there is the possibility of a major tourny being played in england, and a staduim of this size will no doubt be in line for hosting a champions league final - The only time that trophy will ever be in arsenal :P

I know the Emirates Stadium will be 10X better than the new Wembley, but somehow I don't think England will be playing at Arsenal's ground.

Im not so sure, they do play with a lot of width, so i would imagine they would want a wide a pitch as possible to stretch teams when they come to there ground.

Nope, Clazon is right, has to be rectangular under fifa rules.

Although nothing in the rules saying it cant be almost square like 100 X 99.

Seems to be much stricter for international games, and i guess arsenal would want to comply to these rules so they can make more money from internationals being played there.

Arsenal will prefer to keep a smaller pitch as it works better with their style of play.

I think they can make it 75 x 75 or something like that if they really want.

No-one will obviously, but I think it's within the regulations....

Erm.

No they couldn't.

Has to be rectangular.

Emirates Stadium will have a bigger pitch according to website. Not huge, but bigger. Plus with bigger stadium that means better camera angle and higher first tier height.

It's not about stadium size....

Emirates Stadium may have the same pitch size as Highbury, as the club can have it how big they want (providing it's within the regulation dimensions....). Heck - they could even have a square pitch if they wanted...
