OK, so I know it sounds like one of these annoying JAT-ish polls, but I'm genuinally interested to know how everyone rates their class. Here's how it works, on a scale of 1 (being very lower class) to 10 (being very upper class) - just give yourself a rating.

I'd give myself about a 5 - dead average. I live in East London, so that brings it down, plus quite a small house and a cockney accent, however intelligence, two parents with good professions and a respectable ancestry gives me a middle ranking.

Get rating!

...

If you can be bothered that is.

So isn't this meant to be a personal rating? You're just rating where you live, what it's like and how well off your parents are. Nothing about your virtues or vices.

If your family could afford private school for your two brothers I'd say you were more than a 5.

But what with me being the height of cool, probably 6.

Living in a Bungalow, in a decent residential area in Derby, spoilt by the family living across the road from us who claim for everything from the government. I have a pretty broad Derbyshire acent, which I really like. Aside from that, my parents have pretty decent jobs, I'm pretty intelligent, (if i do say so myself). So i'd give myself about a 5 or 6 compared to some of the people on here.

Whenever anybody echoes views on immigrants someone raises the flag... and someone usually gets fired.

I'd say I'm about 6....

I'm a country bumpkin. But we have money. My parents have good professions and there are no flats in sight. Oh... and I'm not a farmer.
