Hatch
I have to say, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't one single story about 4 men accused of a crime they didn't commit, trapped in a shed, hatching a plan to get out. Or some creatures hatching from weird eggs in a barn and attacking people, like that movie, Critters.
Oh, and Hat CH would have been a sure winner - excellent concept.
Still, there were gay pirates, what am I complaining for?
Anyway
3rd place = Paradox for more than one hatch usage, plus I liked the ending.
2nd = Mav a well written piece, very intriguing.
1st (and indeed the winner) = Grix. Because it had a Kinder Egg in it. Captured my imagination. Well done.
But a nice title nonetheless.

Like the kind of woman you'd pay for, it'll be whatever you want it to be.

Very broad, like a Russian athlete.
