Throwing up. I threw up 6 times in 5 hours and then slept for near 24.
The throwing up was nasty, but it was the constant dull ache that really got on my babs. My sister had this bug when I visited her in Scotland and I thought I'd managed to avoid it. Thursday morning it struck with vengeance.
I've not been that ill in ages. Thank good it was only a 24-hour thing.

The last time I had a cold? thats a distant memory, abour 4 or 5 years ago. Not been ill for years. Tho' the last time I threw up was a few months ago, from a combination of beer and stress.
One of my friends when I was in college got menangitas (not sure of the spelling). He was in hospital for 4 months & nearly died. He said that was quite nasty. I happen to think it was a bit more than nasty.

Not even drunken sick?
I've only been sick twice in the last year from drink and I don't even think it even classes as sick.
I puked a tiny bit up (as in about 1/4 pint) and then felt fine, that was the same on both occasions.
