Zane Lowe will shortly talk about how he loved him before he got "love" over here and pretend to be his best ex-friend. I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to wangle doing a eulogy at the funeral.

I was really shocked by this when I heard about it. He was brilliant.

bit of a legend and has done a lot for music, he will be missed greatly, altough i couldn't stand his radio show.

The does suck.

I loved the live sessions he invited The White Stripes to do, before they even became 'big'. He was pretty instrumental in them making it over here.

wasnt it John who was riding on hiss bike and fell of cracking his skull ...if I remember he came to work on the radio radio 1 then and Janice Long made him go to hospital. Thats when he found out he cracked his skull

Woah, i was listening to his show the other week and he said some female DJ would be standing in for him until he got back, i guess that won't be happening now.
