Just to make sure everyone knows it's OK if you fail SATS. SATS have no relevance whatsoever to your future they just make the teachers look good. No bad can come out of failing SATs. SO relax! Don't worry! And use this as a way of seeing how good you are and where you need to improve not how bad you are and how you are going to fail.

Trust me relax save the panicking for GCSES!

I am yet to see a CV with SAT scores on it.. :) I rest my case.

Exactly Reaper well down for realising the truth. I didn't revise except for the night before and got a level 6 in English, and 7's in Science and Maths.

YOu live in Scotland? With the name Sheepy I guessed Wales.. anyway.

I can't even remember my SATS. I know they had something to do with numbers. And I know they have had sod all to do with the rest of my life.

Its because the school wants to look good in front of the inspector guys.

I got 5s on my SATs (same as in primary school!), but my GCSEs went well.

I'm going to university in the summer, with predicted A grades on my A-Levals.

So ignore SATs.

I am doing my Standard Grades in 5 days (arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)

You see in Scotland we have proper words to describe our education - and not GCSE's and SAT'S (A-Level is ok)

heh, that's what I've been trying to tell people...I've done no revision for SATs, and don't intend to, but everyone thinks that these are life changing exams. Probably because the teachers keep stressing how important they are - they don't meantion that they're important to the school, not the pupils..
