Finally decided to set my PS2 up for online gaming and had a quick little bash at Hardware. Got repeatedly murdered. Still a fun game though!

I only have Killzone as a full-version online game, but haven't played it yet.

So recommend me the popular-est online games on PS2 - without mentioning SOCOM 1&2, T.H.U.G, Burnout 3 or Pandora Tomorrow :P

and no Monthly-fee games either!

Stopped playing online since i got tired of Socom 2 and it's crapness. Nothing has made me want to put my network adapter back on considering Madden didn't come with online play (yet NHL did what's up with that?)

Haven't even attempted to get mine online. Got all the stuff with the US slim line PS2 but with LIVE absolutely gash at the moment there isn't anything on the PS2 worth taking online that would even come close, neither match PC online gaming on any front. Killzone has a mutties nutties single player though.

Kibitzer you imbecile.

Anyhoo, might just grab Tiger Woods for now. Played Killzone online last night - pretty damn average unfortunately. Dunno about the single player, but the online multi is not even up to Rainbow Six 3 standards (I'm talking about the Xbox Live version here).

And it was laggy too - how do Sony manage it?? Xbox Live wouldn't struggle in the slightest, considering the basic graphics used.

BUT, I'm not here to start a bickering war with a Sony Fanboy. I'm glad I set it up for online, it's just a shame it has once again confirmed Xbox Live is superior in every way.

I wouldn't go as far as to say they are rubbish, in fact they are pretty good. I imagine they are a lot better than they would have been if Activision had carried on with the Pro Skater series. Don't want to see another T.H.U.G. though.

Tiger Woods 2005

That's the only PS2 online game that I wish was on XBox.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Easy and free service!
I think it's fab that you provide an easy-to-follow service, and even better that it's free...!
