Ok it all works now which is great (thanks for the help) But now all of the other lists do not work properly, ive tred making a #content il and #content ul things in the main.css file and giving the other lists the id=content thing but it does not work
http://www.llforums.co.uk/websitefiles/bestprograms/musicprograms.html
The main.css file is this:

ul {list-style: none;
padding: 0;
margin: 0;}

#nav a {
font-weight: bold;
color: grey;}

#nav a {
text-decoration: none;}

#nav li li a {
display: block;
font-weight: normal;
color: grey;
padding: 0.2em 10px;}

#nav li li a:hover {
padding: 0.2em 5px;
border: 5px solid #7d6340;
border-width: 0 5px;}

li {float: left;
position: relative;
width: 8em;
text-align: center;
cursor: default;
border-width: 1px 0;}

li ul {display: none;
position: absolute;
top: 100%;
left: 0;
font-weight: normal;
background-color: #000000;}

li > ul {top: auto;
left: auto;}

li:hover ul, li.over ul{ display: block;}

#content {clear: left;}

#content li { width: 1em;
cursor: default;}

#content ul {padding: 0;
margin: 0;}

body { background-image: url(bg.gif);
background-color: #000000;
color:#FFFFFF; }

p { font-family: "Times New Roman", serif, Times,;
padding: 5px 5px 5px 5px; }

a:link { text-decoration: underline;
color: #CCCCCC}

a:visited {text-decoration: underline;
color: #CCCCCC}

a:hover {color:#CCCCCC;
text-decoration: none}

a:active {color:#330099 }

You've either not uploaded the CSS file, or you've placed it in the wrong place or given it a different name, as typeing in the address brings up a 404 page.

Check the extension and file name match exactly - including case, Main.css and main.css are two seperate files on a *nix machine.
