Erm, yeah. Do I say
" Squire, I have Pro Evo 2 and Pro Evo 3, I would like to purchase Pro Evo 4. How much shall one take off the price? "
Sell 'em to a mate, you'll get £5 for 2 and £10 for t'other.
Back in 1995/6 time, before EB became Game and before Future Zone became EB my friend took his Megadrive + 23-25 games down to our local Future Zone branch wanting to exchange his Megadrive for the spangly new Playstation.
If I remember rightly the new Playstation (PS1) was £199.99, they looked up all the games he had in a file with prices on...totalled it all up, and he was STILL £10 short of having a PS1 with 1 pad and a game.
Sadly he promptly phoned up his parents and they gave him the extra tenner (and bear in mind this was before eBay ever existed, but you think he'd have got £200+ in the local classified section).
On principle I'd have argued heavily that they were going to resell the games at £10 a pop at least and demanded to speak to the manager. Or perhaps better still have waited til the console came down in price...
Anyway...just shows you how they ripped people off back then and they're still doing it today.
Hmmmmm
Feckin' GAME.
