Vince McMahon is putting Pat Patterson's retirement down to his 'loss of passion' for the business. No mention of his son-in-law.
Shawn Michaels is having knee surgery this week. he is suffering from a torn meniscus. Doctors won't know the extent of his injury or how long he'll be out for until they open it up, worst case scenario is around 7 months away from the ring.
WWE is currently planning to return to the UK in April 2005 to further it's WWE UK brand push, launched with recent Raw and Smackdown tapings on these shore and a range of connected promotional activities. WWE are also looking at the viability of expanding it's developmental system by purchasing a UK based promotion, as a group of powerful backstage voice, lead by im Ross, beleive that international experience is a real plus for it's talent.
In an interview with WWE.com, Chris Benoit basically stated that he will not be defendind the tag team titles with Edge. However, this was an interview in character, so it was probably something that was scripted. The WWE is already hinting around at whether or not Benoit will have to defend the tag titles by himself, with Edge, or whether or not he will be able to choose a new partner?
The results of the IC Title contender poll released by WWE shows that Shelton Benjamin won with relative ease. assuming the figures are legit of course.

- The word making the rounds within the SmackDown brand is that Kurt Angle is continuing to use his influence behind the scenes in order to get his point across. The overall feeling among many SmackDown wrestlers is that although he is an amazing worker, he is mentally off-base when it comes to the wrestling business as a whole. One SmackDown worker even went as far as to say that Angle's storyline ideas aren't great and causes many guys to simply shake their heads - coming off as unknowledgable in the process. To make matters worse, many SmackDown workers have said he carries an "I'm better than you" type of attitude that rubs many the wrong way.
- A number of people within the WWE are reportedly talking about John Laurenaitis (aka Johnny Ace) and his current transition as Vice President of Talent Relations. Many have pointed out that Laurenaitis still has to win over confidence among many workers, including Triple H who isn't said to be sold on him quite yet. Although Stephanie McMahon is one of the biggest supporters for Laurenaitis, the overall opinion among many is that he is a "yes man" when it comes to his relationship with Vince McMahon. Some have even labeled Laurenaitis as both sneaky and devious, with many under the impression that he basically tells McMahon what he wants to hear in order to keep his spot secure with the company.

Well, there isn't now...but that's my point. If WWE took them voer they would bring in all their own useless 'roid-monster-botch-jockeys and force the existing talent to job to them...

Only problem is, if they DO work with the FWA, this will mean all the talented FWA'ers being pushed out of the main event or even out of the door to make way for the 'roid freak botch-jockeys.
