Anyone else think there should be more ratings than newbie, regular and notable.(and i know there are Staff and JATs too.) Once stupid newbies reach a certain level they just kind of blend into everyone else. There should be more diferentiation between regulars.

who agrees?

Well, in terms of my post in question in this topic, I think that anybody with even a little sense will be able to make up their mind about who the good/bad forum members are. And anyway, so much hoo-harr was made about how a Notable Election was supposedly "rigged" a couple of months ago, are you proposing another election for another status? I hope not.

And the other option is to give people above a certain number of posts a particular status. In this case, what about people like Light and the_sagacious_one? Some of their posts are truly brilliant, but due to the fact that they post lengthier responses and not just lots of short ones, should they be put behind idiot spammers that write five word answers all the time? Most certainly not.

Not at all, I'm not really that shallow. Merely that was the response I drew from your post.

This is about me not wanting to play pool, isn't it? If you're so bothered that I don't want to play tonight, by all means, I'll forfeit our match. The truth is that in terms of priority it falls rock bottom of my list of "to do's".

Well they'll learn in time, I honestly don't think a rating is going to change what they think about a person.

I don't need another rating system, I know who the class regular's are, the great regular's are, and the idiot regular's are.

Usernames are the best form of rating system.
