Over the weekend me and my missus put an offer in to buy a flat. It's a pretty big step to be honest, especially for her, as she's moving up to essex from surrey.
I'm 23 and she's 25, we've both been away to university so we're used to living away from home as it were.
Still, it's a big commitment, not only financially, but to each other as well. I'm excited and nervous at the same time, but I'm sure everything will be fine.
I'm just sitting here, waiting for the phone to ring to see if the offer has been accepted.

We put an offer in on a flat earlier in the year, but Northern Rock took so damn long to pull their finger out that we were forced to pull out and let the flat go to someone else.
Now we're just renting. It's pretty good - so far!
