I went to a club the other night with my flatmates from Uni. I never realised how stupid it is.
For example, I had buttoned my shirt up to the top because I'd put a t-shirt on underneath which you could see otherwise, but she tries to undo it explaining how "It looks gay".....Then, later that night, somebody put a straw in the bottle I was drinking out of which I decided to use. Another roommate then chirps "You're drinking through a straw, are you a girl?". WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? What the hell does it matter if I button my shirt up. What does it matter how I drink? I'll go topless to a bar and have the drinks fed to me through a drip if I want. It doesn't change who I am. I doesn't mean ANYTHING.

Don't conform to their standards... just be your own person, it may get you a bit of grief but it's better than faking it.
Drinking through a straw gets you drunk quicker anyway (alcohol gets to the brain quicker or something), I saw the word "uni" and to save yourself a few quid then why not! =P
