For all of you who wondered who it was that posted the 7,500 word topic thing, i've just found it.

It's in the PS2 forum, about 3 pages in from the most recent, and it's called Ps2 v DC: Cold hard stats.

Thanks for the offer, but the reason I haven`t posted it is because it now works. You enter words, and it knows if it is a repeat, or if it should end, or if it should continue. It also resizes when it fills the whole array.

Thanks for the offer though, I appreciate it!

Right, that looks incredibly dumb. I've written false instead of true, and vice versa in some places.

Bah.

From what you've said, it looks like you aren't returning anything.

public static boolean whetevet(//some parameters)
{

//some code
return false; //this statement when you return true

//some othe code
return true; //you can probably figure out this one..

}

Probably right! I have my notes though, I`m just getting myself confused over them.
I have a method: static boolean search (String[] repeater, String target, int i)
then there is an if and for type statement, and then a line to print.

However, it tells me that there is a return required at the end of boolean search, and puts a small arrow below the s of search. Can`t figyre it out.

Thanks, but I`m doing java arrays, which don`t exist anywhere but in our lecturers head. (An exaggeration, but still). I don`t like it much at all, its boring, which is why I`m still messaging on here.

Thanks anyway though.
