One of my cats is getting on a bit, and her fur is getting all matted where she can't wash properly anymore. So last night me and the missus gave my cat a good brush, cleared up all the matted bits, and this was the results:

That's a lot of surplus hair for one cat, but her coat is so shiny and clean now - almost like new!

Ah, no batteries for camera, and she's upstairs so the lead won't reach. That's practically a whole cat there though, albeit a really skanky one.
My cat's 16 and she leaves hair EVERYWHERE. You can't stroke her without sending it flying. My mum's always kicking off about it, especially when the cat cleans herself and leaves clumps on the carpet. She's still adorable though.
