I woke up at 6.30am; my plan was to meet a wrestler, for the first time ever.

Shane Helms was scheduled to be at Hamleys in London, at 10am, and so I was sure I was gunna meet him, no matter what.

I had it planned perfectly...get to London for 9.30am and then just wait. However, as with anything I plan, something always goes wrong. The bus was late. Very late. 15 minutes is the difference between two or three Tube trains.

Oh, and the journey there was b******s. The driver must have paid someone to give him a full driving licence, or something. Meh.

So I arrived at Hounslow East, and was ready to go to London. Oh, and don't laugh, but when I got there, I missed my train. >:c|

I actually arrived earlier then expected. So with that in mind, I nipped into McDonald's and got some breakfast, before heading to Hamleys.

Outside, there was a queue of around 150 people. Not as many as I had anticipated. Therefore, I was given some time to quickly have a look at the WWE merchandise in Hamleys.

So, I head back outside and join the end of the queue. Some pre-pubescant teenagers (don't ask me how I know that ;cD) came and stood behind me with their father. They wouldn't shut up, and they were chanting "We want Big Show." Lol. Then their little sister thought she was meeting Chris Jericho. Awww. :cD

The crowd, albeit small, was awesome.

When the lady was making an announcement, they kept shouting 'What?' and one lad randomly shouted 'I've got two words for ya...', to which four or five of his mates replied by shouting 'SUCK IT!'. Yar! :cP

We got our admission passes, and went in. Hurricane turned up 15 minutes late. >:c|

Not to worry, it was worth it. I was near the back of the queue. People were queuing up for seconds, as there was hardly anybody there. Can't have been more then 200. But, it was 11am and so there was an hour to spare.

Hurricane was brilliant. Friendly and happy to pose for cameras.

I was being rushed to take some pics, but he was happy to hold the queue and pose for me. You'll see this when I get my pictures developed. I used my polaroid, which takes APS film, instead of my SLR camera. Colour etc.

But yeah, worthwhile. I got one of the autograph mats signed...I never had a silver pen, and so my WWE DVD came home with me, untouched. Boo. :'c(

Next stop...Rob Van Dam!

YAY!

I forgot to mention that The Hurricane was dressed in FULL attire! He even had his kickpads on (the first thing I noticed, heh) and he had the shirted attire. I can't remember if he had his cape...don't think he did. He even had elbow pads on. :D
