In Romania (or Czech Republic? *shrugs* Dunno where the game is being held), that's where.

--------------------

ADRIAN MUTU has declared war on Jose Mourinho after going AWOL from Chelsea.

Boss Mourinho claims the striker is injured and cannot play for Romania this week.

But Mutu, 25, insists he is fit and has flown out to face the Czech Republic on Saturday.

Mutu stormed: “I am in an open conflict with Mourinho who forbade me to go to my national team and said I was injured. It is not true — I have been in good condition for five days and he knew that.”

Mutu is sure to walk straight into a fine of two weeks’ wages — around £120,000 — when he returns next week.

But he added: “I don’t care about being fined. I want everyone to know that the national team is the most important thing for me.”

A knee injury was officially blamed for the Romanian hitman’s absence from Chelsea’s squad in their 1-0 Premiership win over Liverpool last Sunday.

Mutu rapped: “I told Mourinho I was fit. He disagreed and showed me a piece of paper from the medical staff claiming I wasn’t. But I know I am fit.

“Mourinho has promised me that I would play in the first team for some games. Then I wasn’t even in the squad and I don’t understand why.

“Probably the only solution, even if I don’t want it, is to find another team.”

He's a great player, but not great enough to compete with the depth of Chelsea's pocket.

News to me.

But yes, he's better than Smertin.

I say the Russian uses that obscene £120k fine to build the largest cake ever known to man on top of one of the Chelsea stands.

No?

BAH! It'd make a great attraction!

I remember when all the Chelsea fans were hailing him as the greatest striker the Premiership will see.

Now where is he eh?

haha

What a waste of money.

He can be added to the list of Drogba, Kezman, Crespo.

Excellent
