ADRIAN MUTU has declared war on Jose Mourinho after going AWOL from Chelsea.
Boss Mourinho claims the striker is injured and cannot play for Romania this week.
But Mutu, 25, insists he is fit and has flown out to face the Czech Republic on Saturday.
Mutu stormed: “I am in an open conflict with Mourinho who forbade me to go to my national team and said I was injured. It is not true — I have been in good condition for five days and he knew that.”
Mutu is sure to walk straight into a fine of two weeks’ wages — around £120,000 — when he returns next week.
But he added: “I don’t care about being fined. I want everyone to know that the national team is the most important thing for me.”
A knee injury was officially blamed for the Romanian hitman’s absence from Chelsea’s squad in their 1-0 Premiership win over Liverpool last Sunday.
Mutu rapped: “I told Mourinho I was fit. He disagreed and showed me a piece of paper from the medical staff claiming I wasn’t. But I know I am fit.
“Mourinho has promised me that I would play in the first team for some games. Then I wasn’t even in the squad and I don’t understand why.
“Probably the only solution, even if I don’t want it, is to find another team.”

Yeah, I also think he's a quality player, and isn't scared to take players on.
Probably why they are so boring of late. Cant argue with the results though i guess.
Someone like Parker would be moving forward too much, and when you've already got Duff, Lampard and Cole surging forward, you need a player like Tiago or Smertin to sit back and absorb all the pressure.
That's what Smertin does, and that's why he's in the team ahead of Parker.
but I think

Perhaps, but their is also the case of him being the russian captain and having vastly more experience than the young parker.

You seem to think I think Smetin's crap.
Not the case.
He's a good player, but versus Parker for me there is only one winner. Scott has always been an outstanding talent, he was class at Charlton, and I haven't seen him perform badly yet in a Chelsea shirt. I think he's better than Smertin, personally, but I think possibly the influence of your chairman means he makes the starting line-up time after time...after time.
Just my thoughts.
> Sorry how many has Kezman scored?
It worries me that you base your opinions on a player solely around how many goals they've scored in about 8 games.
It's the kind of thing i did when i was like 7.
You can't say he's crap after he doesn't score in 4 x 15 minutes of premiership football or whatever it is he has done.
He scored against Celtic and Roma in pre-season, hardly bad teams are they... He'll start scoring in the premiership, I have no worries about that....

Smertin's quality. Don't care what anyone says about him.
You watch him play. Deserves his place in the starting line up. I dont see why some people think "I can't believe Smertin's playing for you..." when they don't even know how good he is in that midfield.

Ahahah. He is a quality player, but not once did anyone hail his as the premiership's greatest striker. Where is he now you ask? At Chelsea I believe, and hopefully he'll stay. The guy's work rate is first class and he showed at the beginning of last season what talent he's got and what he can do.... Drogba and Kezman = waste of money??? You must be kidding... You are obviously ignoring the fact that Drogba is now scoring frequently. Kezman's proved he is a great goalscorer, and I'm sure he will start scoring for us soon. Crespo was a waste of money, but Mutu, Drogba, Kezman? I. Think. Not.
