No Gilardino, Ailton, Morientes, Giuly or Maniche.
Owen, Raul, Kahn on it.
How many of those Real players deserve to be on it? Ronaldo and that's it in my opinion.
EDIT: Oh, and no Totti after driving them to second place of Serie A, the only three players that could claim to have but in such great performances are Ronaldinho, Henry and Davids.
If internationals are considered as well as club games, then Adriano and Deco should be considered, if it's just internationals then Zagorakis or Baros, if it's just clubs then Henry, Ronaldinho should be added to the list.
Overall, it should be Adriano though.
I know it was only the olympics but he was bloody amazing. Had a pretty decent copa too.
> Henry. Rooney. Lampard. Gerrard.
What has Rooney done though apart from smack in a hat-trick and score against some average East European teams? Hardly anything for him to be crowned best player in the world. I'd even take twinkletoes over him in the young player award as well
Their joking right?
Henry will win it...
> Henry. Rooney. Lampard. Gerrard.
Hah. The premiership aint that dominant!
Henry is the only prem player that will make the top 3.
Give me Defoe anyday...

Don't worry, I don't think you'd get many people putting up a fight to take him from your hands ;)
Give me Defoe anyday...
Speaking of which, Mourinho has said Shevchenko should get it for scoring all them goals in the toughest league for strikers.
