Metal opera and dull plodding rock aren't my thing. I'll happily listen to decent rock/metal though.
I don't care much for muse but Iron Maiden are excellent dude.
out of the ones you mention I'd go for SOAD and two of the others (Muse + Maiden) aren't music but are infact somesort of awful musical parody gone wrong, musical trolls if you will.
