4 of my friends saw the Foo Fighters at Slane last year and they said they were uninteresting. Apparently they might as well have just put on a CD, since their live performance was just a carbon copy of the studio songs.

That's true for their latest album, not for their earlier ones though. The Foos are awesome live.
