Windows Media Player plays .AVIs last I knew.

Windows Media plays AVI's if you've got the settings right.

Pretty much everything plays .avi.
And just search google for a video converter.

None of my stuff can play .avis, becasue they are all gay. I have:

You need certain codecs to play certain types of avi files.
