She

As I pulled up against the kerbside, I felt such energy cruising through me. Never before had I felt so cheerful. The sky was bleached as blue as the calm ocean waters, and the birds sung so beautifully, there was not a soul in sight. I got out of the car, and began the walk toward the college. As I stepped, I could make out a small figure in the distance. At first, I squinted hard, wondering who it could be. Then, as the person got closer, I could make out an outline of a young girl; only around late teens.

I stared across the road at her, and her picturesque face turned, as her eyes locked with mine. I couldn’t move; I was paralysed, motionless. She was so beautiful. Her long, delicate hair swayed gently in the soothing breeze, and her eyes gleamed like polished silver. A warm smile was melted upon her face, and I stood dumb in my fantasy world, as she gave me a wave, and carried on up the road. My mind froze like icy water.

‘Who is this girl?’ I thought to myself. To me, she was a gift from the heavens. I shook my head, snapping out of the land of pleasure I was drifting within, and continued up the road.

‘What would she see in me?’ I thought. I hit myself across the arm, sending a stream of pain swirling through my skin, and made my way to college.

But I did see her again. I did see the angel that had walked before. Every morning I would park my car up, start my walk, and she would pass the other side of the road. Every morning she would smile at me, warming my soul like a mid-winter fire, and give a little wave before going about her daily routine. Every day I would stand there, completely paralysed by her beauty, and stare at the fantasy that had so suddenly drifted into my life. For months on end, every morning, her blinding beauty would tear through me like a sharpened blade, leaving me lost and love sick, until I eventually realised where I was, and continued about my daily tasks.

Every day in college I would dream about her. Such elegance and beauty infested my mind like a swarm of parasites, as her gentle face would waft so swiftly through my head time after time. As time passed I became paranoid. I wanted to meet her. I wanted to take her in my arms and tell her how beautiful she was. Every day in class the teacher would harshly shout out my name, telling me to wake up as I starred out of the window, completely lost in my fantasy world. She was slowly destroying me. As the weeks went by, my passion for her grew, like a seed that was slowly evolving into a towering tree. My college work was suffering, my marks were getting worse and I developed more enemies who would laugh at me whilst I was lost within the depths of my dreams. I had many warnings from our tutor, but none of them sunk in.

Weeks upon weeks passed, and before anyone realised the Christmas holidays had arrived and every year the college would hold a Christmas party. It was upon and cold winters night, as the strong winds battered against me like a ship struggling against rough seas. I ran up the path, were I could see a warm glow from the college windows.

Hours went by as the party hotted up. The music boomed through the hall, and everywhere you looked students were dancing and laughing, having such a fun time. I sat alone at a table, drink in hand. I wasn’t. That girl still crushed my soul, building up a whirling rage inside me. As I sat there, I heard the sound of someone sitting down next to me. Slowly I turned my head, and gasped.

There she was, before my eyes. That beautiful girl. Her smile tore through my screaming heart, and I was hypnotised by her eyes that sparkled like diamonds. Her hair was so smooth and shone like jewellery. She slowly reached out her arm, and put her hand upon mine. I sat stupefied, as her face swirled around my head like a gushing stream. Her eyes pierced through mine like a knife through butter, and she brought her face closer to me.

‘I’ve seen you pass me every day,’ her elegant voice softly sounded, wafting gently toward me.

‘Umm…yer…I…ur….go to this college, miss.’ I replied, instantly regretting my actions. But I couldn’t help it. Whenever she came closer to me nervous feelings crushed my body, forcing me to splutter out my words.

She stared at me for a while, before taking a tight grasp on my trembling hand with her soft touch. Then she stood up, and pulled me off my seat, before then leading me out of the hall. My thoughts were a blur. My vision was misted and I didn’t know where I was. All I could think of was here eternal beauty as she led me outside. She turned, and ripped my body to shreds with her rose-tinted smile, before letting out a soothing giggle and running along the path, dragging my limp body with her.

We ran for a few minutes, and then, out of breath, stopped by the country lane. She pulled my toward an open field, glistening in the shine of the moon, and led me toward a single tree. I stood there, and she put her arms around me, warming me with her softness. I couldn’t help it. With one huge breath of air I squeezed her so tightly, and told her how much I loved her. She nodded her head, and that night, under a sparkling moon-lit sky we made passionate love.

In the early hours of the morning, we could be seen, running up the path toward my flat, laughter filling the cold mid-night’s air. That night was the best night of my life. Such passion was ever-present throughout, and as she slept peacefully during the hours of the dawn, I wrapped my arms around her, kissing her burning skin and enjoying such elegant dreams involving her.

Now two years on, she doesn’t pass me any more. Her intelligence led her onto bigger and better things, as she went out and moved to America. We still keep in touch, but it’s not the same. She promised me that when her course finished, she would come back to the UK to see me again. But my soul is now scarred; my heart with a gaping hole, a hole only she can fill. I’m still waiting for that day, and I hope that that day will come soon…

No it's not.

Well, urm there are true bits to it. There is this girl in school who I love to bits. I talk to her and stuff, but I'm mad over her.

So then I thought I'd fast forward things :)
