Pet owners in West Sussex say they are living in fear amid reports that 19 cats have been killed and mutilated after being snatched.
Sussex Police say they are taking seriously reports that 19 cats, along with four rabbits and a fox, have been found dead in 10 months.
In some attacks, in towns including Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath, cats have had heads, tails or legs cut off.
In one of the latest incidents, a teenage girl said she saw a man grab a cat in Chichester.
When she confronted him, he dropped the animal and ran off.
Attacks on pet cats have also been reported in Rustington, Angmering, Littlehampton and Portslade.
That is just evil though, honestly. Why the hell would you want to go round killing cats. Whats the point? What have they done wrong? I really peeves me off when people harm animals. In my opinion it's worse than harming other people because we can do something about it, animals can't.

Tres interessant. My dad grew up in West Sussex and had a cat. All the cats in the local area were killed by some lunatic apart from his cat, so they moved him away to another family who lived some miles away. I'll have to tell him about this story.
I ever witness someone hurt an animal with violent intent, I'll have no hesitation in hurting them.
It's obviosuly just some aliens experimenting with life forms on this planet.
