personaly after reading it i wondered why he was banned because while he is obviously taking the p**s it is lighthearted and tame

Having used the internet for 9 years I've met many many people like Tanoy so I know how to deal/avoid them. What annoyed me was that Special Reserve were taking too long in getting rid of him. Sure it brought a change to the forum but personally I felt he went too far, and though some people weren't offended others were. It's better this way as now he won't have to waste his time here all day and can concentrate hopefully on more worthy activities.
Did anyone take enjoyment from that thread, apart from the mentally retardent tanoy? If so, I'd see a psychiatrist if I were them.

Tim seems level headed so why should he waste his energy rising to bait meant to needle him. He's obviously past all that and couldn't care less if your (not you personally) ignorance causes you to take gleeful enjoyment from the kind of posts Tanoy did.

If that thread about Timmargh was an attempt at humour, I'm pretty sure the guy is best put to sleep and perhaps used as fertiliser.

Well there could be, you might have found his antics amusing but I know others found it offensive. Perhaps if you were abused as a child and he crosses the line to actually assume you were and continue to question that, maybe you wouldnt find it so amusing.
