GBA sucks!
i.e GBA rocks but aint ahead of it's time.
The GBA has a tremendous amount of support, and there are some truely top class games coming out for it.
For a start the GBA can play all UK, US and Jap GBC Games EXCEPT there are about 4 jap games (that ive never heard of) on which the sound doesnt work. i think this bug may have been fixed for US/UK release.
Secondly, the claim that the GBA can play most PS games is laughably obsurd. the GBA is NOT a 3d machine, however it is capable of pseudo 3d graphics. currently the GBA can do three types of pseudo 3d graphics.
Mode 7 - games like f-zero, mario kart (where a 2d image is angled to look like its 3d)
Voxels - a long forgotten technique (superseded by polygons), this is used for games that have no upper texture (eg ceilings) and are based in open air surroundings (eg tribes). this technique is currently being used to make Offroaders for the GBA.
Im not sure whether the third is the same as mode-7 but it includes first person shooters. it differs from voxels as it can include roof textures (eg Ecks Vs Sever), but you can only move on a 2d plain (forward, back, side 2 side) NOT up and down (which is possible with Voxels)
i would go on but ive forgotten what my point was, bye....

Seriously:
GBA can play ALL games that were out on UK and US Gameboys apart from one Disney game which I think is Tarzan.
Secondly:
The GBA has a longer battery life, it can play most PS games on it (as long as they're ported straight to cart that is) and it's handheld, so you don't need seperate controllers and extra wires to play it.
Also the GBA can play 4 player games with just one cart as long as there's a link cable for each Gameboy.
Thirdly:
The PSOne is a ripoff and the only way to play it portably is to buy a 4 inch screen which costs a lot and isn't really worth it!
