I have a solution to stop people swearing - just say BEEP (a la BBC) instead.
I tried it with my family. (e.g. "Shut that BEEPY thing up, you BEEPING BEEPING BEEPER"). They seemed to think I was a bit odd. Funny that. Maybe if I keep going, one day it will be considered rude to say "BEEP".
Then I can say that I have affected the development of the english language!!
